Summary: The post holder will support the Clinical Manager in running the Thames Clinic detox facility in Kingston upon Thames. S/he will be part of a staff team and ensure residents receive a high quality service in a safe environment.

Responsible to: Clinical Manager
Summary: To provide assessment, group and individual work and care planning to clients as part of delivering the overall detoxification.
To provide clients with information and referral to aftercare services that focus on maintaining a sober life.
Job title: Counsellor - Thames Clinic
Location: Thames Clinic - Kingston upon Thames
Responsible to: Clinical Manager
Accountable to: Supervising Counsellors
Summary: To assist the Counsellors in group and individual work and care planning to clients as part of delivering the overall detoxification.
To provide session services to the clients as directed by the Clinical Manager.
