Heroin Rehab
After a client has completed the detox process and the withdrawal symptoms have been controlled, they are able to move on to the rehab process.
Counselling sessions and therapy is a big part of rehab, at the Thames Clinic our counsellors aim to help the client deal with any issues which may have contributed to the addiction of heroin. It is common that drug abuse begun because of a tragic event such as loss, dejection or the breakdown of a relationship. Our counsellors will help the client move forward without the need for drugs. A counselling session may be on a one to one basis or part of a larger group.
Our centres aim is to find out the exact cause for the addiction and what the present situation is. It does need the cooperation of the client, and with our staff working alongside them, there is absolutely no reason why the individual would not get the most out of their rehab stay.
Over the course of the rehab process, clients will gain confidence and get ready to continue life free from drugs. Our staff members mentally prepare the patients to face everyday life in a positive way.
