The main purpose of Drug Rehabilitation is to enable the user to cease substance abuse, in order to avoid the psychological, legal, financial, social, and physical consequences.
Drug Rehabilitation addresses both physical and psychological dependency. Physical dependency involves a detoxification process to cope with withdrawal symptoms from regular use of a drug. Physical tolerance develops within drug use, for example Cocaine and Heroin. This explains why more of the drug is needed to get the same effect with regular use. Psychological dependency is addressed within our rehabilitation program by attempting to teach the patient new methods of interacting in a drug-free environment.
Our residential Drug Rehab Centre is well appointed and our full teams of staff are available and well informed to discuss and assist with every aspect of rehabilitation.
Rehabilitation means to restore something that has been lost. In the area of drug abuse it would mean to give the individual back their self respect, sense of normality and to make him/her feel like a valuable member of society.
