Crystal Meth addiction can be successfully treated for through the process of rehab at the Thames Clinic we will initially offer a complete assessment to determine the most suitable rehab programme for the user. The treatment may incorporate cognitive, behavioural therapy and we use group therapy as a part of our rehab programme. We also support and encourage the 12-steps both during and after rehab as this is the most proven and effective means of a long term, successful healing.
Our drug treatment centre offers services which will teach users how to deal with the emotions that might lead to the use of drugs. Users can learn how to handle emotions like sadness, anger and stress drug free.
Our centre also offers aftercare programs to help users work through the difficult first months of sobriety and also to maintain sobriety. This will include continuing outpatient therapy by joining a support group such as Narcotics Anonymous. An important part of maintaining sobriety is knowing that there will be support and people to lean on when users get stressed and think they might consider going back to using. A support group or addiction counselling will increase the chances of continued successful sobriety.
