At Thames clinic we offer a 28 day rehab programme for the treatment of addiction of many types of substances such as prescription drugs, cocaine, methamphetamines, heroin, marijuana and alcohol.
The main factors applied in the 28 day programme is firstly to stabilise the user and then help and support them to main abstinence long enough for them to create a solid recovery foundation. At the start of the programme, users will have a medically supervised detox, including (if necessary) an opiate detox to help users be as comfortable as possible.
Our programme can help users successfully recover from their addiction, our qualified and experienced counsellors work intensely both one to one and through group sessions to help users discover and deal with some of the deep rooted issues which lead them to use.
However this does not mean our help stops there, we will also offer support for users continuing recovery support on with their transition back home after the 28 days rehab. This would also include the use of a recognised 12 step programme for lifelong management of choices.
It is crucial that the user engages in the continued process of development and alteration to his or her lifestyle once abstinence is achieved, in order to maintain their sobriety.
The 28-day alcohol rehab programmes have some of the highest success rates in the world.
